The Geothermal Alliance of Illinois and the Iowa Geothermal Association are co-sponsoring the 2021 Spring Virtual Geothermal Conference. The event will consist of a series of online sessions for Contractors, Drillers, Engineers and Utility personnel. One hour sessions (two daily) will be held on the afternoons of March 8-11 and 15-18.
Continuing education credits will be available for loop installers in Iowa, Illinois and Indiana. CEUs from NATE and BPI will also be available. CEUs will be available for Iowa contractors as well.
Confirmed speakers include Will Lange of WaterFurnace, Jeff Hurst and Dave Buss of Connor Co./ClimateMaster, Dan Slater of Fernox, Tom Wyer of Geo-Flo. Steve Kavanaugh, loop design guru from the University of Alabama, Boyd Lee of CK Energy in Oklahoma, Todd Abercrombie of EverGreen Home Energy Consulting and Jim Cusack of Enertech Geo. And a host of others!
There will be two, one-hour presentations on each of the eight days. Registration for the virtual conference is available now.
Member organizations of the Illinois and Iowa groups can register for $100 per individual (one-person firms) or $200 per company/organization with unlimited participants. Non-member organizations can sign up for $150 per individual and $300 per company/organization with unlimited participants.
These rates are good through Feb. 28. Then the early registration ends and the rates go up. So sign up ASAP and lock in great training at low cost.
Individuals who qualify and need CEUs from the states/organizations listed above can get the continuing education for an additional fee of $25 per person.
